    Who we are

This website is operated by Darcey Croft, operating through Mothermind Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15972958).

For any data protection queries, you can contact us at darcey@mothermind.io.

    What data we collect

We collect personal information in two ways through this website:

    • Enquiry form: your name, email address, telephone number (optional), and your message.
    • Newsletter sign-up: your email address.

Why we collect it and our legal basis

    • Enquiry form: to respond to your enquiry and provide information about our services. The legal basis is legitimate interest (you have contacted us and would reasonably expect a response).
    • Newsletter: to send you updates, guidance, and information related to our services. The legal basis is consent, which you provide by ticking the consent checkbox before subscribing.

    How we store your data

Your data is stored securely in an encrypted database. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. We do not store your data in spreadsheets, shared drives, or any unsecured format.

How long we keep your data

    • Enquiry form submissions: retained for up to 12 months after your last interaction, then securely deleted.
    • Newsletter subscribers: retained for as long as you remain subscribed. Your data is deleted promptly upon unsubscribing.

Who has access to your data

Your personal data is accessible only to Darcey Croft. We do not sell, share, or disclose your information to any third parties. No third-party marketing platforms have access to your data.

    Automated emails

When you submit an enquiry, an automated confirmation email is sent from enquiries@mothermind.io. This email is sent solely to acknowledge receipt of your enquiry and does not subscribe you to any mailing list.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

    • Access the personal data we hold about you
    • Rectify any inaccurate or incomplete data
    • Erase your data (the "right to be forgotten")
    • Withdraw consent for newsletter emails at any time
    • Object to processing of your data
    • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been handled improperly
